Some of The Big Red Monster’s more demented acts have included setting a WWE Hall of Famer on fire, hitting a WWE executive with a Tombstone, kidnapping too many Superstars to mention and forcing a WWE Diva to marry him. No oneis safe from his twisted desires and demonic impulses. Least of all, it would seem, Kane himself.For years, the sadistic Superstar wore a ghoulish face mask designed to conceal hideous burns from a fire supposedly started by Undertaker years before. But WWE fans received a shock on one of themost infamous nights of Kane’s career when,­ after losing a Mask vs. Championship Match on Raw, the tortured soul was forced to unmask and reveal his face to the world.Kane’s career has been marked by some stellar and brutally woeful contests in the ring against some of the biggest names in WWE, including The Undertaker, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Edge and others. He has also pioneered some of the most vicious stipulations of all time, including First Blood, Inferno, Stretcher and even Till Death Do Us Part Matches. Like his sibling, Kane wields a highly decorated mantle of WWE glory, including reigns as WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion and ECW Champion. He has shown near-unprecedented versatility in the tag team ranks as well, finding championship success with a litany of partners such as X-Pac, Big Show and even twice with The Deadman.Kane tapped into his inner administrator in 2014 when The Authority named him WWE’s sinister Director of Operations. Though he lost the position when Triple H & Stephanie McMahon were ousted from power at Survivor Series, Kane was promptly reinstated on the first Raw of 2015 when The Authority returned to the helm.Kane competed in the second annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Show, but was eliminated by last years winner, Cesaro. One week after Kane was on vacation in Hawaii in July, the WWE Universe had to bear witness as Brock Lesnar used the steel steps to break the ankle of the DOO.Kane returned at September’s Night of Champions in the guise of Demon Kane. The intimidating figure entered the ring after Seth Rollins retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sting. The Big Red Monster made his presence felt by chokeslamming and Tombstoning Rollins. The following night on Raw, The Authority confronted a suit-clad and upbeat Kane, who denied any involvement in Night of Champions and acted confused about his missing mask. After a warning from DOO Kane, Demon Kane appeared and dragged Rollins to hell in the ring.On the final Raw of September, Rollins hitKane with a Pedigree then assaulted himwith a steel chair. WWE’s DOO was carted away in an ambulance, only for Demon Kane to appear in the back of the vehicle moments later! Demon Kane forced Rollins from the ring and stood tall with his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On the first SmackDown in October, Rollins called out Kane, who as the Demon again sent Rollins running from the ring, then annihilated teammates The Dudley Boyz as well as opponents The New Day as Rollins watched.At Live from MSG: Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show, Demon Kane appeared at ringside as Rollins was ready to escape from the steel cage during a United States Championship Match, forcing him to jump back in only for John Cena to hit Rollins with the AA for the victory. Kane then entered the ring and chokeslammedand Tombstoned Rollins before graspinghis WWE World Heavyweight Title once again. On the Oct. 12 Raw, Kane and Rollins met in a Lumberjack Match, which ended with Rollins taking a Tombstone Piledriver from the Demon. The Authority suspended Corporate Kane before the Oct. 19 Raw. Following a hard-fought battle, The Architect left Hell in a Cell with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship still inhis possession, leaving Corporate Kane out of work. On the Oct. 26 Raw, The Wyat Family overpowered Demon Kane and removed him from ringside just as they did to Undertaker at Hell in a Cell. The Brothers of Destruction returned to unleash hell upon The Wyatt Family on the Nov. 9 Raw from the United Kingdom.The following week, The Brothers addressed The Wyatts actions and promised theyve reserved a place for them in the deepest pit of hell before destroying a flock of druids wearing sheep masks.Survivor Series held certain significance as it marked The Phenoms 25th anniversary. Teamed with his brother, Kane decimated Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper, once again asserting the dominance of The Brothers of Destructon.
