Feedly v18 Launches for Android

Earlier this week, Feedly launched Feedly for Android 18 which brought in a few new features and updates to the app. They added Speed reading, a new Nexus 7 design, Google+ login and sharing dialog, and Mark all as read card with reading stats. As far as what was fixed in version 18, back button issue, Android 4.1 crashes and rendering issues, login expiration bug, and improved the speed of image processing. Feedly even gave us a sneak peak at version 19, which will include; Tagging, Evernote integration, customizable font and font size, ability to associate a color to each collections, better search, smooth scrolling for the title only view, offline support for home; must reads; and saved items, and notification support for must reads.


Themer Beta Sees Stability Fixes and More in latest Update

Themer also saw an update this week, which brought mostly stability fixes, but also some more themes. The beta is still open, so you can go ahead and join in, if you’re interested in checking out Themer. You can also download it on the Play Store right here.


Xbox Music Updated with Support for Offline Music Playback

Microsoft updated their Xbox Music app for Android, which now supports offline playback. Microsoft also fixed some bugs which had to do with playback on Android 4.4 – KitKat devices, which impacted the Moto X and Moto G as well as other stock Android devices running KitKat. Floatifications Update Features New Ticker Notifications

In version 1.7, Floatifications got a bunch of new features as well as some bug fixes. There’s now the new ticker notification type, fullscreen only mode, option to customize the gap between stacked icons, and the option to unlock FN and status bar notifications. While they fixed the app crashing on some devices when loading app list, fixed compatibility with apps like Pushbullet, Titanium Backup, and Google Keep, fixed app continuously asking to enable the service, and many other minor bug fixes.


Swiftkey hits v4.4.2 with plenty of bug fixes

Not to be confused with Android 4.4.2, but Swiftkey updated their keyboard to version 4.4.2 this week. Which was mostly a bug fixing update. But they also released a third beta of their Emoji keyboard, which should be heading to the Play Store rather soon, hopefully. You can grab Swiftkey from the Play Store now.
